The newest trailer for the special pre-Season 7 arc, My Hero Academia Memories, focuses on Toga Himiko and Uraraka Ochako’s complicated relationship.

My Hero Academia Memories consists of four episodes, containing recaps and new long awaited scenes. It starts airing on April 6 and ends on April 27. Season 7 will begin immediately on May 4.

As one of the most popular shonen series of the decade, My Hero Academia brings a new twist to the superhero genre. Rather than the rare few who can become a hero, the basis of My Hero Academia is that anyone can dream to be a hero and go to school for it. The series begins with protagonist Midoriya Izuku who desperately wants to become a pro-hero despite his quirklessness in a world where quirks determine many a person’s worth. Those with quirks that are seen as ‘inappropriate,’ ‘useless,’ or ‘villainous’ are shown to be discriminated against, resulting in some of the major villains that have come to the forefront of the series. Midoriya eventually obtains the power he needs but becomes embroiled in a centuries old conflict between his mentor and nemesis.
