A short anime adaptation of I am a hero too, a manga short story created by My Hero Academia author Kōhei Horikoshi for My Hero Academia Fan Book: Ultra Age, has been announced for release this summer. The anime will make its world premiere at Anime Expo in July before screening in Japan during the “Character Match Up” event on August 1 and 2. It will then begin streaming on Japanese platforms on August 3. Originally published in My Hero Academia Fan Book: Ultra Age exactly one year ago, I am a hero too marks the second anime adaptation of a My Hero Academia manga short story, following More (episode 170+1), which recently aired and is available on Crunchyroll outside Asia. Both projects are part of the franchise’s ongoing 10th anniversary celebration.
