TOHO announced at Jump Festa ’26 that the My Hero Academia anime will receive a new bonus episode titled More on May 2. The episode adapts the manga’s extra Chapter 431, which takes place after the series’ original ending. Crunchyroll will stream the special worldwide outside of Asia. As part of the franchise’s 10th anniversary celebrations, TOHO also unveiled the My Hero Academia in Concert world tour, featuring music by composer Yūki Hayashi alongside scenes from the anime, beginning on May 30, 2026. A new anniversary logo and teaser visual were also revealed ahead of the anime’s 10th anniversary on April 3, 2026, with additional projects and events planned for the future.
The anime’s eighth and final season premiered on October 4 and concluded on December 13. Crunchyroll streamed the series worldwide outside Asia, with the English dub launching on October 18. The franchise originally began with a 13-episode first season that debuted in April 2016.
