Square Enix has announced a new entry in the Dragon Quest Monsters RPG series titled Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World during the franchise’s 40th anniversary livestream. The game is currently in development and will launch on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Windows. A teaser trailer released alongside the announcement hints at the appearance of Bianca and Nera, two fan-favorite characters from Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride.
